How does ClickMeter detect click-fraud activities?

ClickMeter tracks the IP origin for each click. Whenever a click occurs on the same link by the same IP address more
than once in a period of time (the default value is 24 hours, but you can custom it), ClickMeter reports it as "suspect click-fraud".

repeatedly clicked on the same link / The "x" indicates suspect click-fraud activity



IP tracking is much more accurate than tracking via cookies, which can easily be erased from web users. We keep
developing our algorithms to continuously enhance ClickMeter's click-fraud detection.
